When we first launched the LANX women’s collection, the Chipping brogue boot was an early frontrunner; a classic shape with a bit of attitude, and a strong link to our Lancashire roots. Now, they've had a full once-over, bringing them bang up to date with the rest of the women’s 1985 line-up.
These are tried-and-tested favourites, just reworked for the season ahead.
SO, WHAT’S NEW?
Let’s talk fit first. We’ve moved them onto our LX-20 last, bringing the fit in line with the rest of the 1985 Collection. It means better consistency across all silhouettes, so once you know your size in one, you’ll be spot on in the others too.
We’ve also added a 2mm EVA brown midsole to both styles. It’s subtle, but makes a big difference. You’ll notice improved comfort underfoot without changing the shape of the shoe — a proper upgrade for anyone who’s always on the go.
And of course, we’ve chosen three classic leathers – available in Conker Distressed, Black, and Chestnut & Khaki:

WHY THE 1985 COLLECTION?
The 1985 Collection is where LANX started. It’s all about smart-casual styles that walk the line between polished and practical. These are shoes you can wear to the office then out to dinner, or throw on with a chunky knit and jeans for a Saturday in the city. Relaxed, but still refined.
The styles are classic, and the construction is built for real life; full-grain leathers and rubber soles that handle the day-to-day with ease.
