*NEW* CHORLTON
Our brand-new Chorlton sneaker takes its cues from classic 80s gum-sole sneakers. Sharper lines and more details than Cheadle, but just as wearable. Built using high-quality suede and available in a variety of neutral tones, it's a sneaker that pulls any Spring-Summer outfit together.
CHEADLE
Cheadle is your off-duty essential. Made in England, they’re soft in silhouette, easy to style, and comfortable enough to keep on all day. Many of the leathers are sourced from Charles F Stead, such as the brand new Cheadle Mole. The range comes in a variety of tones and shades that slot straight into your wardrobe rotation.
A NEW SEASONAL REFRESH
There's been a lot going on in the last couple of weeks, with many brand-new styles and colours being introduced. Our latest addition, Chorlton, brings a pinch of understated elegance to the range. Think clean lines, retro-sneaker-inspired designs, and muted tones. They're an easy choice to slip on before heading out.
We've also added Cheadle Mole to the roster, made in England using one of our Charles F Stead signature leathers — Mole. This brings a rugged yet neutral tone to the mix. It's the kind of shade that works across seasons, sitting just as comfortably in the brighter months as it does in an Autumn wardrobe.
SNEAKERS OR TRAINERS?
Our sneakers have been a casual staple in our men’s and women’s collections for a few years now. When we first launched the range, we were presented with the question… do we call them sneakers or trainers? The decision was fairly easy, in our eyes, as the styles of casual shoes we wanted to produce weren’t sporty or for running, but more casual, fashion-focused and laid-back. So, rightly or wrongly, ‘sneaker’ is the term we went for.
We’ve since launched a style we consider to be a trainer, which was our recent collaboration with WALSH, the Halliwell. Made in Bolton and inspired by WALSH’s performance heritage, it’s still fashion-focused with a sportier design and sleeker shape.
Regardless of what you call it, the relaxed build of Cheadle and Chorlton are constructed with the same attention to detail in the materials, fit, and versatility. The colour palettes across the range keep things simple: understated neutrals and proven classics that pair with any Spring/Summer wardrobe rotation.
