We’ve been thinking it over for a while, but on Friday 10th April, we’ve decided to close our doors… for one day only.
At LANX, we’ve always believed in doing things the right way. That applies to the footwear we make, the standards we keep, and how we look after the people behind it all. That’s why, once a year, we take a step back from our day-to-day roles and responsibilities at LANX and enjoy a full day off the grid as a team.
We’ve all been hard at work over the last couple of months, and especially now that spring has officially sprung, it pays to step back, get some air in our lungs, and have a proper catch-up away from screens and schedules.
As Sophie, LANX HR Lead, puts it:
“Our ‘Shutting Shop Day’ is really important to us at LANX, and it’s something we put a lot of thought into every year. Looking after the mental well-being of our team is at the forefront of having days like this, so setting a full day aside to step back, relax, and enjoy time together as a team goes a long way to boosting the team spirit.”
To you lot, our customers, this only works because of your support. It’s what allows us to build a business that backs its people as much as its product. We don’t take that lightly, so thank you.
Our stores in Whalley and Manchester will be closed on Friday 10th, but we’ll be back to normal from Saturday 11th. Clear heads, fresh energy, and ready to carry on doing what we do best: making proper footwear and sharing our story. Our website at lanxshoes.com will be open as normal.
Appreciate your understanding,
Marv, LANX Founder.
