It’s been another year of designing, testing, tweaking and making, which can only mean one thing: the LANX warehouse shelves are well stocked with samples. It’s time for a clear out, so we’re rolling the shutter doors up and inviting you in.

LANX HQ is open for our annual Sample Sale Weekend. It’s a good excuse to come and visit the beautiful Ribble Valley, see shoes being made, and get up to 70% off men’s and women’s footwear.
You’ll find one-off samples, end-of-line pairs, and familiar LANX favourites with small cosmetic quirks that stopped them from making the final cut. All sizes, colours, and styles are available in limited numbers, so be sure to mark the dates - you don’t want to miss out. Here's last year's highlights for a taster of what you can expect:
We’ll also be joined by some fantastic food & drink stalls, as well as our very own LANX Cobbler’s Cock pub, back for its first outing of 2026 after a cracking debut at the Game Fair last year.

We’ll be joined by a selection of food vendors who’ll be serving food, drinks, and refreshments all weekend:

Q: Are the sample sale event offers available online?
A: The sample sale and special offers will be available at the LANX Whalley Factory Shop only. Not online, nor at our Manchester shop.
Q: Are you selling men's and women's footwear at the event?
A: Yes, we are going to have a healthy offering of men's and women's styles in various colours and sizes.
Q: Can I use a discount code at the event?
A: We aren’t accepting discount codes at the sample sale event. The heavily discounted prices given at the event are final. If you currently have a code for perhaps 10% off or a free pair of socks, please kindly save this for a future order.
Q: Can I use my LANX Loyalty credits at the Sample Sale event?
A: Customers with LANX Loyalty credits may spend their credit at the sample sale event on orders over £150. Simply provide us with the email associated with your LANX Loyalty account.
Q: Can I use my LANX Loyalty credits in the Whalley Factory Shop during the Sample Sale event?
A: Customers with LANX Loyalty credits may spend their credit in the Whalley Factory Shop on orders over £150. But credits can’t be used alongside exclusive in store promotions during the event.
Q: What styles will you have on sale at the event?
A: To discover which styles are in the sample sale and at what price, you will have to come to the event. Expect the majority of our existing styles to be available, plus a large number of styles you will have never seen before.
