We are super excited to announce our latest collaboration with fellow Lancastrians Farm Yard Brew Co.
Based at Moss Edge Farm in Cockerham, the Holmes family have run the farm for 5 generations with now owner Steven, turning it into a brewery and launching Farm Yard Ales in 2016. Since then the business has grown, expanded and a taproom installed. Said taproom was voted ‘Best UK Craft Taproom 2022’ with their GULF beer coming in the ‘Top 20 UK Food and Drink Products’ in the same year.
We have been lucky enough to head over to the brewery and brew up our own beer, a 5.4% abv NEIPA, named ‘Heeling Good’ by one of our great customers. Lily, Josh and Evan got involved with crushing the grain, boiling the mash, feeding the cows and adding in all the great flavours.
To celebrate the collaboration, both teams are heading to the LANX Manchester Northern Quarter store on April 19th where you can sample the new beer and meet us all. Maybe get yourself some shoes whilst you’re there too? The event will run from 4pm to 8pm and we will be giving away 'Heeling Good' for free.
